Venetian Red Basecoat
A
water-based acrylic basecoat with no fillers or matting agents. Use it to seal
and prepare the surface for the adhesive providing a very authentic red color to
show through the cracks in the leaf.

Adhesive Size
A
water-based pressure sensitive adhesive size. Takes all the guesswork out of
determining the correct stage of tack before applying the leaf. Brush out thinly
and wait until completely dry (15-60 minutes).

Satin Sealer
A
clear satin finish sealer designed to protect the leafing from wear and
tarnishing. Brush on evenly and allow to dry. Clean up with mineral spirits.

Antiquing Glaze (Umber)
A
mild dripless antiquing glaze. This is applied after the Satin Sealer to give an
antique finish and bring out the detail. Brush on, then brush or wipe off
allowing stain to stay in the crevices and details. Allow overnight to dry and
seal with Satin Sealer.

Finest
quality 1A-1A Composition Leafing made by German craftsmen from a special copper
alloy and used all over the world. Individual leaves are placed between sheets
of paper in booklets of 25 leaves. Sheet size is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Use
on picture frames, statuary, artwork, furniture.

Genuine 22 Karat Gold Leaf

Deep Gold 22 karat gold leaf. This is the real thing. Genuine gold leaf has been
for thousands of years. Starts as a piece of 22k gold foil and is hammered until
the leaf form is reached. This is even thinner than the Composition Leafing. It
will never tarnish and is commonly used on exterior surfaces. The sheets are 3
3/8" x 3 3/8" and come in books of 25 leaves.

Fracture is a two part kit that will put a clear fractured finish on any smooth non porous surface. The fractures can be highlighted with metallic powder, pastel chalk, antique stain... The kit contains a 2 fl. oz. jar of primer and a 2 fl. oz. jar of topcoat. Both products are clear and the finish can be used over statuary as well as prints and card stock for stamping.
